3 things I like about the tool

1. its basically an invitation you create, or a list which people can look at and sign up to
2. it is a sign up tool were people people can choose what they want to bring in an easy way with no miss communications.
3. very organized, easy to follow up, and easy to invite your friends and other people for example via facebook.

3 things i dont like about the tool

1. when you go to the link, you have no idea what a "sheet" is and there is no button that tells you "what is this?" "what are you trying to do" "what are you looking at". no clear explanation of the website. 
2. I dont understand if i have to make or create an account in order to use this website or invite friends so that we are all able to use it.  
3. they also dont tell you what the steps mean and what are you doing in each step, they just show you a brief introduction video in the home website.   

2 ways i could use the tool

1. when im having a brunch or dinner or lunch or some kind of party where i want people to bring food, i can create a list where people can sign up and know what they have to bring and what others have to bring and there is no confusion.
2. also were im making a 3d model or a school project which involves a lot of materials and different types of things each person has to bring, i can to a sheet and everyone will no perfectly what they have to bring for that day.

3 things i like about the tool

1. it is ecologically friendly and helps saving the earth by letting you edit websites and saving ink by only printing what you exclusively need about that website.
2. it is really easy to use since all you need to do is put the link of the website you want to print, and there it will let you edit the website
3. you can delete all the junk that you dont need with just a few clicks.    

3 things i dont like about the tool

1. it doesnt let you move the images that you copy, so if you remove some images and want to move the other ones to that space it wont let you.
2. when you isolate something it removes all the page but that one thing
3. when you wide an image it removes everything

instagram is a cool app you can download on the app store. it is very easy and simple to use. all you have to do is take a picture, you can either take it or grab an old one already taken from your phone. after you do that there is a bunch of cool and very beautiful effects you can use. the best thing about this app is that you can follow other people and other people can follow you! people can like your pictures, and comment on them too. as you can see below, gabriel put a picture of the two of us, edited it, and added hashtags. then other people liked it! the house button is were you see all of the pictures that the people you follow uploaded. the compass shows random people and were you can search things. the instagram icon is were you add photos, edit them, and upload them. the heart button is were you see your news, and finally the last icon is were you can see your profile.

more editing 
with this cool website i was able to edit pictures. there are so many things you can do with the picture. there are even effect were you can change the persons face and make it look very real, like the color of their eyes, skin, mouth and many other things. in my picture i added a lot of effects and cloned the person that was in it. i was also able to add text.

i also tanned and colored a persons eyes blue. really hard but at the same time easy to do.

with this video i learned how to use the quick selection tool with photoshop very easily and i even tried and experimented with it and did my own edited photo.

with this youtube video i got to learn how to use the lasso tool with photoshop. it is a very interesting but very hard to use and difficult because it is really complicated.

and, for people who have a mac. there is a much easier way of doing it and a better quality than a pc. the link above shows you how to perfectly do it with easy steps, plus the quality is much better.

2. how to move objects around an image without leaving trace

in this video, they show you how to move objects around and image and then they show you how not to leave the trace of the object you used by replacing it with another part of the image. the video is really informative but in order for me to use it i need photoshop CS6 beta which is awesome.

3. experiment with photoshop 
i started experimenting with photoshop. simply experimenting what tool there were and i even edited one of my pictures.

in this website, you can tell a story by using google searches. it is basically a story using google. the searches appear in a video and every time you type something new, you tell or show something new about the story!

how to use
 the first thing you have to do is choose what you want to tell in your story, your search terms. with each term you can choose whether you want it to be a web search, image, map, and many other things. there are seven entries which you have to fill.
 the second thing you will need to do is choose background music. there are a lot of options which will fit your story perfectly.
finally, the website will make your final story and if you like it you can upload it to youtube.

Digital Nation

1. I disagree with the using of laptops in classes because they distract students from staying in focus. This results in a wasted lecture because nobody can gain from what is being taught.                Technology can be a great advantage, but can also be used with great irresponsibility.

2. I disagree with multitasking because it is actually not possible. Thus, people think they can do many things at once perfectly, but end up doing both things half way. I believe that resulting with one thing very well though out is much better than resulting with three mediocre works.3. I agree with the possibility of multitasking doubting because of testing results shown by scientists. People believe they can multitask, but when it comes to testing the ability, it is wrong4. I disagree with the impossibility of multitasking because some people can be able to do many things at once, even though they don't do them right, they still are doing it.5. I agree in the belief that people who think are good at multitasking but  really aren't because, as stated before, testing results show that it is very hard to do many things at once.6. I agree that technology is made to be most creative and not to distract because the technology is supposed to be used for innovative ideas, and using it in a useful way. But, many people are abusing this advantage to get distracted from the real life.7. I agree that the conclusions of small use of the brain is better (reading) because it takes less energy of the human brain to do useful things. Therefore, using Google takes up more energy from the brains and causes more damage.8. I disagree that the technology will be obsolete because it will always be present in everyday life. Eventually, something more innovative will come along later, but technology will always be essential for a human's life.9. I agree it takes people a while to realize bad behaviors because they continue doing bad distractions and don't realize they are just wasting time.10. I agree that technology is addictive because a whole bunch of people constantly practice these behaviors. Either it is video games or Facebook, we don't realize we are constantly on them.11. I disagree with the PC system in Korea for playing video games because these places just open an advantage for addicts to keep on playing and using technology.12. summary about the information

what i noticed the most about all the information i read is basically that for each different university you apply to, there are different things that you have to do. what all american universities ask for in order for you to apply are a list of things. you need your transcripts, annual income, social security number, citizenship status, student wide ID, bank information (statement), if you are an international applicant like me you need your English level certificate, and a copy of your passport.

 those are the easy things, the important things that universities need to check in order to see if you are a good candidate or not are your test scores, and your student essay which is asked differently by every different college you apply to or. remember that different universities sometimes ask and require different things for your essay in order for you to apply.

 the most important things is to have everything you need in order to apply within the application deadlines and fee. some universities don't have deadlines but almost all others do and it  is really important to be on time. submitting your application is the same for citizens or different country of residence.

Tumblr is a website that uses gifs a lot and where people also show the gifs they made. Gifs are a really big deal and used all the time in Tumblr so I typed the hashtag gifs in the tumblr website and there were a lot of entries about people who make gifs and posted some awesome tutorials!

Google 20%

i would like to do my google 20% project about photoshoping and all the ways you can and are able to edit picture. the amazing skills i would like to do with photoshoping and editing pictures are gifs which is how to make a picture move. i would also like to learn how to move objects around an image without leaving trace of the change. another interesting thing would be editing pictures. all the effects, how you can change the colors (color corrections) of the pictures, texture, and all of those types of things. how to chose the focal point of the picture after taking the picture would also be a cool thing to learn. and how to extract a subject and put it somewhere else and create my own instagram effects.

i plan showing how i learned all of these skills by making a video that explains how to do it in a simple way that everyone can follow along and learn. it would be a video with small videos about the topic that helped me, but in the way i learned about it and showing everyone how to do it in easy steps. i dont want it to be a long video since it could bore people but im pretty sure i could have all of the information i learned inside the video that would be under 3:30 minutes.
